RESEARCH, MEASUREMENTS, MONITORING, STUDIES,ASSESSMENTS,DOCUMENTATIONS

The Centre deals with the following matters:

• organisation and carrying out research, measurements, assessment and forecasts relating to the environmental quality
• organisation and carrying out monitoring of the environment in all its aspects.

The Research Laboratory of the Centre has been certified since 1998 by the Polish Accreditation Centre - Certificate of Accreditation No. AB 213.
The scope of accreditation covers examination of waters, sewage, water extracts, wastes, sludge and soils from the environmental point of view.
Since 2005, on the basis of a sub-licence contract, we have been a operating as a recognised international laboratory, licensed for using ILAC-MRA/PCA label.
The offered scope of certified and other research works, covered by the quality management system, is very wide.

RESEARCH

We carry out the following examinations:

• surface waters
• ground waters (wells, piezometers)
• potable water
• rain water
• municipal sewage
• industrial sewage
• sewage sludge
• bottom sediments
• wastes (including compliance tests)
• leachate and drainage water from landfills
• soils
• grounds
• dusts and gases
• solid fuels
• plant and animal materials.

Our investigation techniques are in compliance with the law being in force and updated in line with the introduced ISO and EN standards.
Sampling
The certificate covers the following sampling:

• portable water
• underground water
• surface water
• industrial effluents
• municipal sewage (including daily uptake)

We offer also sampling of:

• wastes
• sludges
• soils/grounds

MEASUREMENTS

AIR

• dust concentration and emission
• gas concentration and emissions of CO, CO₂, NO_x, SO₂ and O₂

concentration and emissions of organic and inorganic compounds in gases

• acceptance and test measurements of stationary exhaust gas monitoring systems (calibration of flow-meters, calibration of exhaust gas analysers)
• concentration and emissions of dioxins and furanes
• concentration and emissions of biogas
• concentration of substances in the air (any dust and gas pollutions)

NOISE

• noise measuring in the environment by sampling action (elementary noise samples)
• studies on measurement results in compliance with binding regulations
• analysis of noise noxiousness of installations by means of the program "HPZ 2001" and mapping of noise propagation in the environment
• measurements of sound power levels of installations for application in calculation techniques of noise assessment

MONITORING

We can provide the following services:
